Four Manitobans are in the money after winning a million dollars in a huge radio bingo on the weekend.

Dave McLeod, of Native Communications Inc., says the win is a relief for the radio station.

McLeod has been fielding calls about whether the bingo was the real deal. He says carrying the big jackpot was exhausting and he's glad it's finally been won.

'Everybody was wondering if it could be won, and I think the listening audience, they know now that this bingo can be won...We have four winners and I think it's exciting, especially that the winners come from throughout the whole province.'

NCI's Mini Loonie Pot Bingo made history as Manitoba's largest mini-loonie pot when the big prize topped the million-dollar mark a few months ago.

McLeod says the game will return to radio this Saturday morning, but with a much smaller prize. The size of the prize depends on how many bingo cards are sold by Saturday.
